‘Pride of India’ on 17th of February, 2024
Icons of Indian Business (IIB) hosted the 24th edition of IIB Awards with the theme ‘Pride of India’ on 17th of February, 2024, at the grand and prestigious Taj Vivanta, located in the bustling area of Yeshwantpur, Bangalore. Visualized and arranged with perfection under the foresight of Srinivas Thimmegowda, the founder of IIB, the event was arranged with grandiose and most importantly, care.
As the event kicked off, the guests were welcomed with great enthusiasm by Srinivas Sir, who set the tone for the evening with his words of appreciation and gratitude. The emcee for the night, MC Moon Sarah, was quick to engage with the crowd as she exchanged witty and intriguing questions and answers, hyping the audience’s mood and setting the stage for the upcoming performances. And then, as if on cue, Vinay, the noted musician, made his grand entrance, taking the stage with his signature style and grace. With his familiarity with multiple languages, he was able to sing some of the greatest hits from each era in both Kannada and Hindi, captivating the crowd with his melodious voice and infectious energy. His music had everyone in the audience swing their heads and clap in rhythm, creating an electric atmosphere that lasted long after the show had ended.
Icons of Indian Business has one aim: ensuring its customers are honoured for their achievements. With this in mind, Srinivas Sir devised an alternative for the event: honouring the nominees by making them as chief guests. Ten nominees were made as chief guests, as they introduced themselves, shared advice, and honored themselves. This pattern was implemented for every batch, as it allowed them to foster and strengthen connections, enhancing their network. The annual awards ceremony was a grand success, with 36 nominees being recognized for their outstanding achievements. Each nominee was presented with a beautiful award that resembled that of an angel, symbolizing their excellence and hard work. The award ceremony was followed by a scrumptious feast arranged by Taj Vivanta, which left the guests amazed and happy.
The feast consisted of an array of mouth-watering veg and non-veg dishes, making sure to maintain the perfect balance between both. The guests were delighted with the multiple choices they had to choose from, and the aroma of the food wafting through the room only added to the excitement. As everyone feasted on the delicious spread of food, they chatted and mingled with each other, sharing stories of their achievements and congratulating each other on their success. The atmosphere was filled with positivity and happiness, making it a memorable night for everyone.
After the event, the guests left the venue with a sense of pride for being recognized for their accomplishments and enjoying the company of like-minded individuals. It was truly a night to remember, and the perfect way to celebrate the success of all the nominees.
